Q-Live in PowerPoint (Keynote, Google Slides…)

You don't have to present from PMG Club — insert your Q-Live questions into your own deck in any tool. The audience votes from their phones; you show results from a browser on a second screen.

📥 1. Download the slides

In the event detail click PowerPoint → Download PPTX. You get a deck with:

  • An intro slide — event title, a large QR code and the join code. Show it to the audience at the start so everyone joins.
  • One slide per question — the question text, options for choice questions (without revealing the correct quiz answer), and a small QR + code in the corner for latecomers.

The file opens in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides and LibreOffice. The slides are editable — adjust texts and colors to match your template. If your event branding has a color set, the slide accent bar uses it.

Export also works for a draft event — prepare the slides in advance and start the event on site.

🎤 2. During the presentation

  1. Start the event (Go live) — even from your phone.
  2. Present your deck as usual. When you reach a Q-Live slide, the audience scans the QR / enters the code and votes.
  3. Activate the question in Q-Live (from your phone via the Presenter view, or from a second window) — voting opens.

📊 3. Live results

PowerPoint cannot display live results (only presentations inside PMG Club can). The solution is simple:

  • Second screen / window: open the results link (pmgclub.com/qv/CODE — the export dialog has a Copy button) in a browser. Results update in real time by themselves.
  • On a single screen just Alt+Tab (Mac: Cmd+Tab) between PowerPoint and the browser.
  • Pro setup: results on a separate projector/TV via the Present mode.

💡 Tips

  • Keep the QR slide visible a bit longer — joining takes the audience a moment.
  • Quiz slides never reveal the correct answer — feel free to hand the deck out in advance.
  • The same workflow works for Keynote and Google Slides (File → Import slides).
  • If you change questions after downloading, download the PPTX again — slides are not generated live.
