Creating a Smart Presentation

Path: Tools → Smart Presentation → + New presentation (/tools/presentations/new).

The wizard offers 3 AI input modes:

1. Topic (text)

The simplest way:

  1. Enter a topic or brief (e.g. "Cybersecurity for small businesses 2026", "Pitch deck for investor — payment platform")
  2. Optionally: additional AI instructions (tone, target audience, key messages)
  3. Pick slide count (4–20)
  4. Pick format (16:9 / 9:16 / 1:1)
  5. Generate

AI creates:

  • Structure (title, key sections, conclusion)
  • Text on each slide
  • Recommended colors and template (if you pick one)

2. Import PPTX

If you have an existing PowerPoint:

  1. Pick a .pptx file (max ~50 MB)
  2. AI extracts text from slides and adjusts styling to match PMGclub templates
  3. Images are imported too (to R2 storage)
  4. PPTX animations are not preserved (you re-add them)

Details in Import PPTX / PDF.

3. Import PDF

If you have a PDF (e.g. brief, marketing material):

  1. Pick a .pdf file
  2. AI OCRs text and extracts images from pages
  3. A presentation is created with one PDF page = one slide
  4. You can then refine / restructure

Generation — what happens in the background

  1. Backend calls GPT-4o-mini with your prompt
  2. The model returns JSON with prepared slides (text, layout, chosen template)
  3. Frontend renders the result → saves to DB → redirects to the builder

Cost: 50 credits per presentation (one-time at generation), charged from your monthly bundle.

Tips for better results

  • Short, specific topic > long generic description. Instead of "presentation about payments", write "pitch deck for pre-seed investor — instant A2A payment platform for retail in CZ"
  • Target audience — say who you're presenting to (board, client, students…). AI adjusts tone accordingly.
  • Slide count — 6–10 for a pitch, 12–18 for detailed material, 20 max
  • Template choice — if you have a preferred style (dark/light, minimalistic/bold), mention it in the prompt

After generation

  1. The builder opens with the presentation
  2. You can:
    • Edit text (double-click a text object)
    • Change images (click → properties → upload new)
    • Add animations, music, narration
    • Use Restyle for a quick look change (see AI features)
  3. The presentation auto-saves continuously (every few seconds)
