History and reuse

Pekari stores everything in a notebook — sources, generations and generated presentations. Unlike Smart Presentation, where every generation starts from scratch, Pekari lets you keep working from the same material.

Notebook structure

A notebook contains:

  1. Sources — texts, URLs, PPTX, DOCX that you've added
  2. Previously generated — list of presentations created from these sources
  3. Notebook title — editable in the header (click the title → Enter to save)

The /tools/pekari page lists all your notebooks:

  • Click a notebook → opens detail
  • Last-updated date (incl. adding sources)
  • + New notebook button to create an empty one

Workflow with history

Iterating through multiple generations

  1. Create a notebook, add 3 sources
  2. Generate with 8 slides, Atelier template → output A
  3. Not happy — return to the notebook
  4. Generate again with 10 slides, Bolt template → output B
  5. In the Previously generated section both show up — switch between them and pick the better one

New versions from the same content

  • For different audiences — internal (Atelier, 12 slides) vs. client (Bolt, 6 slides)
  • A/B testing — generate 2 versions, show the team, pick one
  • Updates over time — add a new source to the notebook, generate again; past outputs stay

Sharing a notebook

A notebook is private — only you see it. To share, share individual presentations from Builder (share and publish).

What doesn't persist

  • AI structured data — if you don't pick a template right away and close the page, the structure is lost. Always complete the full flow (Sources → Generate → Template) in one go.
  • Editing sources — once added, a source's text can't be modified. Delete and add again.

Deleting a notebook

In the current version notebooks can't be deleted through the UI — if you need to, email info@pmgclub.com.

Tips

  • Name the notebook right away — the default "New notebook" is useless in the list once you have several.
  • Notebook = project, not a junk drawer — for a completely different topic, create a new notebook instead of mixing in unrelated sources.
  • Generate in small batches — instead of "sources from 3 articles + 2 PPTX + 5 texts", focus on one topic. AI will be more precise.
  • Builder has its own history — the generated project has its own versions in /tools/presentations. Pekari doesn't store the edited version, only links to the project ID.
