What Pekari Tool is
Pekari Tool is a utility for quickly creating presentations from multiple sources. It works NotebookLM-style — you upload materials (text, web, PowerPoint, Word), AI processes them and generates a structured presentation that you then open in the Smart Presentation builder.
When to use it
- Meeting prep — you have notes, research and an old PPTX, AI turns them into a fresh presentation.
- Web research — drop 3–4 URLs, AI extracts key points and assembles slides.
- Material recycling — repurpose an internal document into a presentation format without manual rewriting.
- Pitch / leadership — set a "Presentation goal" and AI adapts the output style.
How it works (short version)
- Notebook — create a new notebook and name it.
- Sources — add text, URL, PPTX or DOCX. AI sees only extracted text (no images).
- Settings — number of slides (4–20), optional presentation goal.
- Generate — AI builds structured slides from all sources (15 credits).
- Template — pick a visual style (Atelier, Folio, Bolt, Maison, Press).
- Opens in Builder — keep editing, export or publish to the feed.
Pekari vs. Smart Presentation
| Pekari Tool | Smart Presentation | |
|---|---|---|
| Input | Multiple sources (text + URL + PPTX + DOCX) | Topic or single input |
| AI phase | Material synthesis → structure | Generates structure from a topic |
| Cost | 15 credits | 50 credits |
| Output | Opens in Builder | Opens in Builder |
| Source history | Notebook persists | Only the presentation |
When you have scattered materials and want to merge them, use Pekari. When you only have a topic and want a presentation from scratch, use Smart Presentation.
