Paša-řada-pyramida rules

Played over 9 levels, each level each player plays 1 turn. A turn = up to 3 rolls of 6 dice, recording a score in 1 of 9 categories.

9 categories

6 number categories (levels 1–6)

In each number category you sum only dice matching the value. Maximum = 6 dice × value.

CategoryValueMax
Onessum of all 1s on dice6
Twossum of all 2s12
Threessum of all 3s18
Fourssum of all 4s24
Fivessum of all 5s30
Sixessum of all 6s36

Example: you roll 4 4 4 2 6 6 → in Fours = 12 (3×4), in Sixes = 12 (2×6).

3 special categories (levels 7–9)

Paša — 3 pairs of even numbers (level 7)

You need 3 different even pairs: a pair of 2s, pair of 4s, pair of 6s (2+2+4+4+6+6 = 24), or different even pairs. Score = sum of all 6 dice.

  • Valid score: even number between 12 and 30
  • Failed: write 0

Examples:

  • 2 2 4 4 6 6 → 24 (classic Paša)
  • 2 2 2 2 4 4 → 16 (two pairs of 2s + one pair of 4s)
  • 1 2 3 4 5 6 → 0 (no 3 even pairs)

Řada — 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (level 8)

You need to roll the complete sequence = each number exactly once.

  • Valid score: 21 (= 1+2+3+4+5+6)
  • Failed: write 0

Pyramida — 3+2+1 (level 9)

You need a triple, a pair, and a single — all three groups of different values.

  • Valid score: sum 10 to 32
  • Failed: write 0

Examples:

  • 6 6 6 4 4 5 → 31 (3× six + 2× four + 1× five)
  • 1 1 1 2 2 3 → 10 (minimum pyramid)
  • 6 6 6 6 4 4 → 0 (quad + pair ≠ pyramid)

Turn mechanics

  1. You start a turn (online) or you record for the player (offline)
  2. Roll 1: all 6 dice are rolled at once
  3. Pick a category — choose which category you record this turn in. After choosing, dice holding activates.
  4. Roll 2 (optional): click which dice to keep, the rest are re-rolled
  5. Roll 3 (optional): same principle
  6. End turn — final score is written to the table

Maximum 3 rolls per turn. You can end earlier (after the first or second roll).

Validation in the offline scorekeeper

When you record scores manually (offline), the app verifies the number is legitimate for the category:

  • Ones: 0–6 (multiple of 1)
  • Twos: 0, 2, 4, …, 12 (multiple of 2)
  • …and so on for Threes/Fours/Fives/Sixes
  • Paša: 0 or even 12–30
  • Řada: 0 or 21
  • Pyramida: 0 or 10–32

If you enter an invalid value (e.g. 5 in Twos), the app warns you and won't save.

Winner

After 9 levels all scores are summed. The player with the highest total wins — the crown shows next to their name in the table.

Theoretical maximum: 6+12+18+24+30+36+30+21+32 = 209 points (but that requires extreme luck).

Strategy tips

  • Risk vs. safety — with bad dice, better 0 in Paša/Řada/Pyramida than 5 in Twos
  • Sixes and Fives first — high categories want good dice
  • Pyramida → Paša → Řada — if you have 3 same, aim for Pyramida; 3 different pairs, aim for Paša
  • Hold strategically — don't keep 6s if you're going for Threes, even if you already have two sixes
